The next part of our busy and fun weekend was the Alaskan fish fry we were invited to. Some friends were home from Alaska and had brought all kinds of fish to share with friends and neighbors. I don’t know when I’ve seen so many great and unique dishes to sample. They had various types of salmon, cod and halibut; plenty of salads and side dishes, and very unique desserts.

To add to the fun, I even got to hold a sleepy puppy! Can’t beat that!
