Quebec

Sarah and I drove through Vermont and all the way up to Quebec, the beautiful Canadian French city.  For a quick breakfast, Chez Cora is a fun restaurant where food becomes a form of art — check it out here!

It was a great way to start the day.  We spent most of our time near the beautiful Château Frontenac near the river. 2014-08-17 13.23.03_500

We went up to the old fort and arrived just in time for the changing of the guard and, strangely, it made me sing the song from The Wizard of Oz (can you guess which one?).

Later, we ate at a really good crepe restaurant.

What a beautiful location!  We spent quite a bit of time walking the streets and checking out many of the shops.  The weather was perfect.  I was thinking that everyone should see Quebec at some point in their life; it’s such a beautiful city and the food and shopping can hardly be beat.
