One of the places I’d read about in Lima was the Barranco District (the “SoHo” of Lima), so we hired a cab to take us there (cabs are very cheap in Lima). It was very interesting to see.
This is the Bridge of Sighs:
These statues (and the sweet little girl in front of them) were fun to see.
This is the Church of La Ermita. It looks normal from the front.
But when you look closely you can see that the roof is full of holes.
It was the oddest site; I’ve never seen anything quite like it. There was a bridal party outside, so it seems that it was still being used in some capacity. Isn’t it odd?
