My parents always considered family to be most important, and made sure neither daughter was favored over the other. It was a wonderful truth to know and I can honestly say that I feel the same way towards my own children. We always spent a lot of time together as a family, and my parents made it fun for the kids.
At the first cabin in Jackson Daddy put up a teepee for the children to play in. They had a blast playing “cowboys and indians.” You may notice that the kids that were not from Wyoming were the ones that dressed the part very well.
The teepee was fun in more ways than one.
There was a fun saddle to play on too.
It’s still fun to play on.
My dad enjoyed teasing the kids, big or little.
We often did fun things together, like watching parades go by.
When our mother passed away Daddy took us on a fun historical home tour in Kansas City.
Family was always important and we had a lot of fun together. I will show more photos throughout the week, so enjoy!
