Equator Again

On our first day in Kenya we hired a friend of Jimmy’s to take us on safari in the Ol Pejeta Conservancy and Mt. Kenya National Park.  It doesn’t take long to see how beautiful Kenya really is.

And, once again, we had an opportunity to pose beside the equator.

We stopped at various places to shop, and the local crafts are great!

There were plenty of giraffes of all sizes:

Not to be outdone by elephants, zebras and rhinos:

And hunters of various types:

We stayed at the Lion’s Court, just outside of the park.  It’s a great place to stay, with impressive meals and service.  We had nice little “huts” to stay in with modern facilities, and slept well, though we were eager to go on safari the next day!
